Majority of women and children in Burundi are not yet to live up to their full potential
Join us and support our 5 year BAHO NAWE project targeted at adressing preventable factors influencing maternal and infant mortality and promote better health for women and children in Burundi
Many children from socio economic families have no access to school and find themselves wondering in the streets alone while their parents are away to make a living. With the help of our volunteers home-start Burundi has been providing a day shelter for vulnerable young children to protect them from different risks there are in the street.
We train volunteers in the areas of family risks prevention, mitigation and coping. We equip our volunteers with the necessary knowledge to empower families with children and help them learn strategies to confront the many different social problems they face in their everyday lives.
