Many children from socio economic families have no access to school and find themselves wondering in the streets alone while their parents are away to make a living. With the help of our volunteers home-start Burundi has been providing a day shelter for vulnerable young children to protect them from different risks there are in the street.
With the help of HS nutritionist and volunteersour Schemes ,we have feeding programs for children victims of malnutrition.
We train volunteers in the areas of family risks prevention, mitigation and coping. We equip our volunteers with the necessary knowledge to empower families with children and help them learn strategies to confront the many different social problems they face in their everyday lives.
We asses child development and help parents to identify the symptoms of malnutrition in their children
