We implement strategies that help vulnerable families to confront different preventable risks that have negative impact on children,s health, wellbeing and developement. Through the support of trained-home-visiting volunteers, Home-start Giriwanyu offer regular support, firendship and practical help to the families helping them to prevent family crises and breakdown, also encouraging them to enjoy the pleasure of family life.
Our mission is to provide the necessary help and support that vulnerable families need to confront risks that affect children developement and to promote family welfare.
We don,t generalize families. We believe that each family is unique and we respect familiy values. We don,t discriminate families and we treat them equaly. We are friendly and non judgemental at all time.
We want to see a Burundi where all vulnerable families have the opportunities to provide to their children their basic needs.
